FIRE Classes/Gatherings/Troupe Practices

Scheduled twice monthly on Sundays evenings generally 1 hour before sunset.


TUITION: $100.00 for 2 months. Or you can spread it out over 2 months, at $60.00 per month. It includes your safety training and your training/class time using our equipment, including fuel. You will have about 2 & 1/2 to 3 hours per meet up of training and meeting time. So your hours will be about 5 to 6 per month total for the 2 meet ups each month, or 10 to 12 hours over the the 2 month (4 class) safety and equipment training period.

Once you are through the safety training and 2 months worth of meet ups. the cost is $25.00 per month for the 2 meet ups/classes per month. 

PERFORMING COSTS: The following is elective, as not everyone wants to perform. We have some folks go through the training because they are curious, and others just want to do the classes, some do it to become safety spotters, while others wish to perform. For those who are interested in being part of the performing group, there is an additional cost, an annual membership fee of $125.00, upon acceptance into the fire troupe: this can be paid in 2 increments. One also has to complete 30 hours of practice, meetings and/or performance spotting, in classes, rehearsals and performances to be potentially considered as a member. This is a group decision based upon skill level and practical application of safety standards. 

There is also a cost to purchase fire performers insurance for any public performances other than our own private parties, that anyone wishes to be a part of: This is also elective, as not everyone wants to perform outside of our private venue.

There are other misc., costs for costuming, fuel, etc.

EQUIPMENT COSTS: The first 2 months, we welcome you to use our fire props to help you determine which prop(s) you are interested in purchasing. Into your 3rd month you will need to have purchased your own fire prop(s).

* Must have completed the Fire Safety Sections to participate in the Fire Dance Gatherings
* Gatherings are conducted at a private residence in the greater Brooksville area
