Sword Dance 101 - Intro: The Basics for Beginning Sword Dancers
This short workshop is geared toward beginning sword dancers. We will cover the following topics:
• History • Sword Choice & Purchasing Tips
• Sword Care • Balance Points
• Sword Framing • Links
• Performance: Etiquette, How to’s & General info
If you have never danced with a sword before, or taken a basic sword workshop, this short 75 minute intro to Sword, is packed full of information. It is suggested that you complete this section before moving on to the next level of sword study.
We have a limited number of swords to borrow.
Workshop Fee: $20.00 in advance —- $25.00 at the door
Audit Fee: $15.00 in advance (available to those who have previously taken this workshop)
